What is Shipyard?
Shipyard is a 7-week coding challenge where a new job arrives every week. Each job requires you to ship a solution to a problem or challenge. A challenge could be a programming puzzle, designing an API that returns x, fixing broken code, or creating something from scratch. In Shipyard, you don't need to ship everything the same week, as jobs stay open. You can submit whenever you have time - but the sooner you ship, the better, since faster submissions earn more points.
How does Shipyard work?
Job Arrival
Every week, a new job is posted in the Shipyard. Each job gives you a challenge - sometimes a puzzle, sometimes a build, sometimes fixing or designing something real.
Build & Ship
Work on the job and ship your solution when you're ready. Jobs stay open for a week, so you don't need to ship the same day — but faster ships earn more points.
Earn & Spend Points
Shipping jobs earns you Cargo Points. Use your points in the Shipyard shop to unlock rewards, and check the leaderboard to see how you hold up.

Who can join?
Shipyard is open to all teens, no matter your experience level. Whether you're just starting out or already experienced, there are jobs for you.
How long do jobs stay open?
Each job stays open for a full week after it's posted. You don't need to ship the same day — submit whenever you have time.
How do points work?
Shipping a job earns you Cargo Points. Faster submissions earn more points, but later submissions still count — just with fewer points.
